Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in developing mobile applications for the Android platform. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications to meet our company’s needs.
Specific Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven software development experience and Android skills development with at least 2-3 years of experience in Native Android app development.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Must have hands-on experience in integrating with hardware components via BLE, Zigbee, WiFi, etc.
- Proficient in audio processing and recording within Android applications.
- Experience in developing AR applications using ARCore, Vuforia, or similar toolkits.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Responsible For
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform while adhering to development best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilize the latest Android platform features and APIs to ensure applications are fast, secure, and scalable.
- Integrate various communication protocols such as BLE, Zigbee and WiFi into Android applications to interact with external hardware devices.
- Implement audio and video processing and recording functionalities within applications, ensuring high-quality audio capture and manipulation.
- Develop immersive augmented reality experiences using AR toolkits, enhancing user interaction and engagement.
- Manage application publishing and update processes on the Google Play Store, including beta testing, tracking user feedback and optimizing app performance based on user data.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in Android development, new technologies, and best practices to incorporate into projects as appropriate.
